This Privacy Policy describes how NPV Prime Advisors & Consulting Inc. ("NPV Prime", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, discloses and retains information in connection with the website located at https://npvprime.us (the "Site"). It applies to the Site only. It does not apply to any other website, to services provided to clients under a separate engagement letter, or to any third party website that may be linked from the Site.
By using the Site you acknowledge that you have read this Policy. Where your consent is required before any information is collected, no such collection takes place unless and until you provide that consent as described in Section 4.

If you contact us by email, by telephone, or by submitting an enquiry or consultation request through the Site, we receive the contact details you supply and any other information you choose to include in your communication. We process that information in order to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to evaluate and pursue a prospective engagement. Providing this information is voluntary, but we cannot respond to an enquiry without it.
Subject to your consent, we use the analytics services identified in Section 5 to understand how the Site is used. Through those services we process information including the pages you view on the Site, the approximate geographic region derived from your internet protocol (IP) address, the referring source through which you reached the Site, the type of device and browser you use, and how you scroll and click within a page. Your IP address is anonymised by Google before it is stored.
The Site does not require you to create an account. We do not process payment card details through the Site, we do not knowingly process special categories of personal data as defined by Article 9 of the General Data Protection Regulation, and we do not use the Site to conduct automated decision making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.
No analytics or measurement technology is loaded when you first arrive at the Site. A notice is displayed asking whether you consent to analytics cookies. Until you select "Accept", no analytics script is loaded, no analytics cookie is set, and no information is transmitted to any analytics provider. If you select "Decline", or if you ignore the notice entirely, no such collection occurs.
Your choice is recorded in your own browser, in local storage, under the key
npv_consent. It is not transmitted to us and it is not stored on our servers. You
may withdraw or change your choice at any time by clearing the site data for npvprime.us in
your browser settings, after which the notice will be presented to you again. Withdrawal of
consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Where you have consented, the following third party services operate on the Site. Each acts as a separate controller or processor in respect of the information it receives, in accordance with its own terms and privacy notices, to which you should refer.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. We do not use the information described in this Policy for advertising purposes of any kind.

The legal bases identified above are those set out in Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation. They are stated for the benefit of visitors located in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Visitors located elsewhere may rely on the description of purposes without reference to those provisions.
We are established in the United States and the Site is hosted on servers operated by our hosting provider. The analytics providers named in Section 5 are established in the United States and may process information in the United States and in other countries in which they or their sub-processors operate. Where information is transferred out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, those providers rely on the transfer mechanisms described in their own privacy notices, which may include the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Correspondence you send to us is retained for as long as is necessary to respond to it and to maintain a record of our dealings with you, and thereafter for the period required to comply with applicable legal, regulatory, tax and professional record keeping obligations.
In respect of analytics information, the retention controls available to us in Google Analytics are configured as follows: event level data is retained for 2 months, and user level data is retained for 14 months, with the retention period reset on new activity by the same user. Microsoft Clarity retains the information it collects in accordance with the retention periods published by Microsoft in its own documentation. Aggregated statistics that do not identify any individual may be retained indefinitely.
The Site is served exclusively over an encrypted connection using Transport Layer Security. We maintain administrative and technical measures appropriate to the limited nature of the information processed through the Site. No method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may ask you for information sufficient to verify your identity before acting on a request. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf where the applicable law so permits, subject to proof of authorisation.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. We would ask that you raise the matter with us first so that we have an opportunity to address it.
The Site is directed to businesses and to professional users. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from any person under the age of 16. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, write to info@npvprime.us and we will take steps to delete it.
The Site contains links to third party websites, including social media profiles operated by NPV Prime. This Policy does not apply to those websites. We are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices of any third party website, and we encourage you to read the privacy notice of any website you visit.
We may amend this Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page records when it was last updated. Where a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention. Continued use of the Site after a change takes effect constitutes acknowledgement of the amended Policy.
